I think it’s wonderful he was finally able to say “hey this is who I am”…something I always wished my dad would have been able to do for his own peace of mind and health. I really think living a lie is what killed him in the end. That being said from the wife/child perspective it’s so hard reconcile those feelings of being lied to/mislead for Hot Christmas Math Teacher – 12 Days of Math shirt. It certainly isn’t black and white even if it seems that easy. I’m at peace knowing he loved us in his own way and did his best even if it wasn’t enough. It’s more than many people have.
